Regional Accounting Manager

Challenges

The South America Accounting Manager provides financial oversight for the region and is a member of the regional management team. The role is responsible for preparing the financial analysis and collaborates to implement regional strategy and operating initiatives. Coordinates with corporate staff several functions: reporting, treasury, tax, legal, HR, etc. Ensures compliance with company management and accounting policies. Coordinates the annual plan and periodic budget revisions. Provides analysis and reports on regional sales, margins and expenses. Defines and implements operating measurements and reporting to track progress on region/division and goals.

Profile

Candidates must have a degree in accounting and relevant experience in this field, preferable in contact with manufacturing related industries. MBA studies or similar academic background will be considered. Specific experience in accounting activities in variety of functions or internal audit is a key requirement. Advanced analytical skills, including ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams. Demonstrated ability to understand broad business and financial issues. Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls. Fluent English and Spanish level is a must.
